Our passion for supporting automotive dealers runs deep. So, what does it take to stand out in an increasingly competitive industry such as automotive? What is the perfect formula for success? These are questions we work to answer with each new automotive client with whom we work. It is essential to pinpoint where immediate improvements can be made within the client’s current marketing plan.

For Example

In July 2016, Audi Charlotte came to us looking for ways to boost their less-than-ideal sales numbers and underwhelming digital traffic. They simply were not getting enough monthly visits to their website and their sales numbers did not reflect the quality of this prominent dealership.

Observation

Audi Charlotte has always been a prestigious and high-quality dealership, but their marketing did not reflect this. One of their biggest struggles was attaining top-of-mind awareness in the community. They had minimal branding within the vast city of Charlotte and they also lacked a strong presence online.

Hypothesis

We felt strongly that if we were to create a completely new marketing plan this would effectively increase their sales. By heavily focusing on digital marketing and branding the dealership with traditional outlets, we would ultimately create a chain reaction for their benefit.

Procedure

By rebranding the dealership within the community, the Audi Charlotte name soon became synonymous with luxury and quality. By carefully crafting a new slogan, “You Belong in an Audi,” and generating memorable advertising campaigns with a unique yet sophisticated voice in commercials, we created a cohesive brand that was seamlessly woven into the fabric of the Charlotte community. 

Our method consisted of:

Redesigning the website to become more user-friendly, interactive, engaging, and optimized for search engines

Creating a new, comprehensive digital advertising strategy with retargeting ads, email blasts,  and videos

Creating regular social media  and blog posts to stay connected with past and prospect customers

Generating a memorable and  fresh slogan paired with traditional advertising that helps establish  the brand

Designing new trade show booths, banners, tents, and other marketing materials for events to help further expose the Audi Charlotte brand to the public

Conclusion

Audi Charlotte saw almost immediate increases in monthly sales and web traffic after we launched their new, comprehensive marketing strategy. Since July 2016, Audi Charlotte’s monthly sales have continued to climb and their dealership has become a Charlotte staple. Their website traffic increased by an astounding 335 percent, jumping from an average of 5,000 views to more than 27,000 views a month. While Audi Charlotte experienced the benefits of immediate results, they also continue to garner long-term benefits from the established, well-known branding and strong digital presence.
